Pretty cool track day video
Sometimes a Ferrari is not the fastest car for a given track. The reason I highlighted this video is to show how a bunch of relatively small cars are struggling to get around the tight twisty corners of a go-kart track. Obviously for this sort of track you need a narrow car that can achieve shallow entry angles, much like most autocross courses where an S2000 might beat a mighty Z06.
Carlos Ghosen almost throws up in an early prototype, Nissan Execs browsing Autoblog in a Staff Meeting, and peak at the rumored 50KG of testing equipment mounted in the trunk of the Nurburgrin GT-R. All good stuff.

Just a little teaser video of the next episode of Head to Head. To be honest I thought they would hold this for the finale, since these were the big guns, but I have to say I can’t wait to watch the full episode (even though I know how it went down).
Guess My car will be in a few more weeks….sigh… patience…
So I was lucky enough to attend this taping. Big thanks to James for inviting me along, the StreetFire film crew had a blast, and shot some behind the scenes.
Of course those of you that have been following this blog know that my GT-R participated in one fo the shoot outs. I’m looking forward to that one being shown soon so I can really talk about the times.
I hate that I missed this race this year….oe of the sucky things about living in LA is being so far away from Road Atlanta.
Maybe next year I’ll be able to take some time off and go to the race again.
