C6 Z06 VS R35 GTR

Rolling starts street races are not th forte of the GT-R.  Anyone that has one will tell you the car is meant for twisties, not straight line drag racing.  This GT-R gets murdered though.  I find it funny and telling though, that the last race from a dig was edited out.  Hmmmm ;-)

Matte Black Lamborghini LP560-4 Gallardo!

So I really liek the whole Flat black look…..but I’m starting to wonder if it’s getting played out.  Why?  Well, it started with people just not caring about hwo the car looked, and instead spending money on performance.  You would take that 993 Porsche out of the garage and straight to the track, perhaps put a can of Krylon paint on it and call it a day.  Well, folks started to Flat black exotics and luxury cars creating that whole ironic twist of “do you really not care about how it looks, really?  You bought a Mercedes SLR and really don’t care about bling?”

Well, now I just found out that Lamborhini is offering flat black paint as a standard option……okay, done now.  When a manufacturer puts something on a option check list, it’s now about as unique as a blue tooth hands free or Nav system.

I like the use of the Buick Grand National this time instead of the Honda Civics. Much more genuine choice of an under the radar criminal car with a bad attitude. Hopefully this latest version of the movie will have a decent car enthusiast Subject Matter Expert. Something sorely lacking from the first movie.
