sigh….more fuel for the fire I suppose….and Jeremy is all about siring controversy… So we have more misinformation about the Warranty, and he has gone from the car being “analogue” to disconnected. Know what? I know he still loves this car 😉
Well here it is, the GT-R’s of SEMA 2008, I’m sure I missed a ton of them, but everywhere I looked I saw more GT-Rs each with fantastic mods, rims, body kits and who knows what else. Soo happy to see the GT-R killing it at SEMA 2008
Carlos Ghosen almost throws up in an early prototype, Nissan Execs browsing Autoblog in a Staff Meeting, and peak at the rumored 50KG of testing equipment mounted in the trunk of the Nurburgrin GT-R. All good stuff.
Mainly press shots set to music, but hey, pretty well done. About 1:15 into the video they show video of the GT-R getting aero tested which are pretty cool.
Who says you can’t do doughnuts with an AWD car? I did some similar antics with my GT-R and the Nissan dealer has complained a little bit about “Excessive Tire Wear” Crap, what does he think I bought, a Sentra?
I’ve sen faster but not stock, impressive to see the car hit 120 stock, guess that puts all those “ringer rumors” into the conspiracy theory bin where they belong.
The interesting thing to note is that this GT-R has the bright silver rims, meaning it’s a base car equiped with Dunlop tires, instead of hte Bridgestones that come on the premium package. Steve Millen has said that the Dunlps provide more traction, I wonder if this affects straight line too?
