Corvette c5 z06 Dies in Fire
Thankfully the driver made it out okay. Cars can be replaced, cars cannot. Very happy the driver made it out safely, but still sad to see such a beautiful car perish.

Fifth Gear: Nissan GT-R vs 997 Turbo
Fifth Gear puts it to the test to see which one is faster around the track on a proper British day with proper British weather.
Nearly a thousand horsepower and very little weight, but what makes this better is the reporting from Autocar.co.uk, you just have to love how they report. Chris Harris does a fantastic job putting you into the driver’s seat. Speaking of, here is another video that puts you into the 9ff’s driver’s seat…
2005 Chevy Corvette Side Crash Test
What a terrible sacrifice done in the name of safety.
File this under “Wierd Races” I guess. I was actually expecting a decisive victory since the Tesla is up aggainst a Convertible 996 Carrera…… perhpas the battery was low.
It never occured to em that people would crash test a bus,and it looks liek the driver *is* the crumple zone…ouch.
1:45 in you see the view from the inside….back of the bus for me!!!
Sound Performance 1017rwhp 350z!
First, I had no idea 350Z’s were breaking 1,000 RWHP, simply wow. Second, I find it hilarious this feat is achieved with a guy sitting in the trunk.
My wife thinks I have a road rage problem…maybe I do, but this video puts it into perspective. Another oldie but goodie that’s been around forever.
The Aussies sure know how to make a car! I know Pontiac has a lot of heritage in their styling, heck I’ve owned three, but when it comes to Holden they should just import them as is. (I’m almost tempted to say leave them right hand drive even…almost). Maybe Pontiac will wise up on a super high performance G8 and bring it over with the full Holden Kit.
Matte Black Lamborghini LP560-4 Gallardo!
So I really liek the whole Flat black look…..but I’m starting to wonder if it’s getting played out. Why? Well, it started with people just not caring about hwo the car looked, and instead spending money on performance. You would take that 993 Porsche out of the garage and straight to the track, perhaps put a can of Krylon paint on it and call it a day. Well, folks started to Flat black exotics and luxury cars creating that whole ironic twist of “do you really not care about how it looks, really? You bought a Mercedes SLR and really don’t care about bling?”
Well, now I just found out that Lamborhini is offering flat black paint as a standard option……okay, done now. When a manufacturer puts something on a option check list, it’s now about as unique as a blue tooth hands free or Nav system.
