First, HUGE THANK YOU TO EDMUNDS! Very cool to put on this event and let Nissan owners get the first sneak peak at this car. Very classy. Second, I’m sorry these photos are so blurry, I had the exact wrong settings on my little point and shoot. Third, I have to say stills do not do this little car justice. The 370Z has all sorts of great angles and curves that create a lot of drama in the design. Anyhow, here is the slideshow, stills and insider info on the GT-R after the jump
I really have to wonder how a company as big as NBC can’t find just one person who knows the first thing about cars to act as a consultant on this show. I keep trying to watch it, but it comes across to me as a big Ford infomercial wrapped in a completely wrong understanding of automotive culture. Really sad.
This is a tough one for me. On one hand it always worries me seeing new VC funded car web sites come into my sector, but on the other hand, each is a validation of the space StreetFire is in. RiceboyTV was really exciting because we figured out a way for both StreetFire and RiceboyTV to be successful working together. Well, word just came down that their investors have gotten spooked by the market and are not fulfilling their financial obligations. A real shame, and I have to wonder if other recent Vertical start ups are going to fall victom as well. Anyhow I’m pullin gfor these guys and gals, I think they’re on to a great concept and hope they pull it out at the last second.
sigh….more fuel for the fire I suppose….and Jeremy is all about siring controversy… So we have more misinformation about the Warranty, and he has gone from the car being “analogue” to disconnected. Know what? I know he still loves this car
